About the accommodation

GLS Sutdio Hotel Berlin is located in the historic centre of Berlin, in trendy district Prenzlauer Berg. The studios are situated in two historic buildings and are part of the GLS Sprachentrum Berlin: an international language school with a 16.000 sq. m. campus, including a historic swimming pool and the option to live on campus while learning German in Berlin. All apartments used to be class rooms in a former school that was built in 1898. The team on site is happy to help with all questions and concerns and is looking forward to an international crowd and interaction with everyone. Your studio is equipped with a kitchenette (incl. stove, microwave, kettle, fridge and dishes) and a private bathroom with shower. Most studios are accessible via elevator. Should you require a barrier-free room, please indicate this in your enquiry. A communal laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available on campus at a surcharge. Security plays an important role in this apartment house, which is why you can only access the building with your apartment key. At night a security guard is present at the reception. Parking is available on campus on request at a surcharge. The parklike campus is a green oasis in the very centre of Berlin. Of course you are welcome to use it too and hang out. Kastanienallee, where the apartment house is located, is nicknamed casting alley - due to frequent fashion and film shoots here. Media have described it as Berlin´s coolest boulevard. More than 40 bars, cafes and fashion stores featuring Berlin designers are only some of the attractions you find immediately next to GLS Studios Hotel Berlin. Also located on the GLS Campus is the Hotel Oderberger located, a Berlin landmark building under monument protection in historic baths "Stadtbad Oderberger Straße". It opened in 2016 as a Boutique hotel with 70 hotel rooms, two apartments and five tower apartments (both apartment categories are also equipped with a kitchen), as well as a fireplace bar and a restaurant. The highlight is the historical indoor swimming pool.
