New apartment cosmos in Munich

By Sylvie Konzack

With Revo - a combination of Revolution & Evolution - a new serviced apartment brand saw the light of day at the end of 2022 and suddenly advanced to become one of the largest providers in Munich. Over 600 apartments are located at Revo München in a residential tower around 50 meters high behind spectacular porthole windows and butterfly-like shutters. Guided tours, which the team is happy to take with guests and interested parties, can last an hour or two - because there is a lot to see: from the "social staircase" for readings and small concerts or the Feng Shui courtyard to the coworking floor with rentable secretaries, office boxes and a small board meeting room to the rooftop with a two-tier fitness club.

Unique apartment variety

The 607 apartments and 878 beds cover almost 15,000 square metres. The spectrum ranges from studios with kitchens, which are offered in the Work version with a desk, and in the Live version with an armchair corner, all between 20 and 38 m² in size. In addition, there are home office apartments with a fold-down bed, as well as two premium apartment products: the Duplex Apartments on two floors for living with a kitchen downstairs and sleeping upstairs, and the Loft Apartments with separate sleeping and living areas as well as a pull-out sofa, optionally with a balcony.
In addition, there are 113 hotel rooms - i.e. without kitchen - from 21 to 37 m² in size, as well as a few hostel-style shared rooms.

Home cinema to workshop office

The five "social spaces" of around 100 square metres on different floors are also intended exclusively for guests. They present themselves as a library, play area, small, bookable home cinema or even as a workshop with workbenches and tools. Balcony included, as well as popcorn or workshop smells.

"We want long-stay guests in the majority at Revo. They should be among themselves here and be able to use all these worlds intensively at no extra charge," says general manager Carla Lopez. In addition, laundry and ironing can be done in the basement, and there is a large bicycle garage with large Munich graffiti behind the building.

Pizza with colleagues

Gastronomically, the offer ranges from the Café-Ape opposite the reception to the Italian restaurant, where many people from the surrounding companies also have lunch. In the evening, the restaurant also has a wine bar, and in the morning it is open to breakfast guests.

Guests can reach Revo Munich easily by urban train or underground within 20 minutes from Munich's main train station to Neuperlach-Süd station. From here, it's just 90 metres to the Revo entrance, with a supermarket and drugstore right next door. And there are numerous companies close to the building, whether BSH Hausgeräte or Siemens.
