"1,500 regular guests sent us suggestions and even hand-drawn sketches for the design and furnishings of the apartments. We were surprised and delighted at the same time," says Ralf Krause, Managing Director of Adapt Apartments. The colors, floors, fabrics, the multifunctional table and the kitchen equipment were decided together. "And much of it turned out to be similar to our Adapt Apartments in Berlin."

But there are also differences: the house in Wetzlar does not have a reception desk; guests can access everything digitally. "We have also provided multilingual information in various places via QR codes etc.," says Ralf Krause. And in addition to the cleaning staff and building technicians, there is always 24/7 availability on site. The Adapt Apartments have just completed the building itself after four years of construction. The adult education center will also move into it, and there are a few condominiums. There is a public parking garage next door. And Adapt has installed laundry facilities for guests above the 33 serviced apartments.

33 serviced apartments over 30 square meters

A literal highlight of the Wetzlar house are the large apartments. None is less than 31 square meters, the smallest category is up to 39 square meters. There are also three studios with 45 square meters and three one-bed rooms with 67 square meters. "I think that large apartments are still a quality of the serviced apartment segment. That's what makes good long-term offers," says Ralf Krause. Guests also have a balcony, large, fully equipped kitchens with dishwashers and always a seating area. Anyone who has to work in Wetzlar for weeks on end has booked the perfect feel-good atmosphere in a large space, including extensive desk facilities.

Vacation guests are also very welcome in the new apartment building. "The famous Lahntal cycle path runs past us. Guests will therefore find a bike room with charging stations on each of our apartment floors, which can be opened with a lock card," says Ralf Krause. "We look forward to welcoming a diverse mix of guests to our hotel, whether people who come to work in the city and find a second temporary home with us or those who want to discover the beautiful old town and the surrounding area by bike for a few days on a city break."
