Hygiene-Standards in Serviced Apartments.
During the Corona pandemic, Apartmentservice developed the "Safe in Your Second Home" hygiene initiative.
A large number of serviced apartment operators joined this campaign and implemented the hygiene measures.
Due to their special features, serviced apartments are more than ever the safe live-at-home and home office solution for numerous business travellers - especially for longer stays and due to their standard-included kitchenettes, separate living and sleeping areas, mostly contactless access and nearby utilities. Added to this are the significantly lower long-stay rates than in the classic hotel industry.

Dispensers with disinfectants suitable for viruses are available for guests in all public areas. | |
Regular cleaning and disinfection of public areas with the appropriate cleaning agents according to tested hygiene regulations. | |
Increased hygiene measures when cleaning the guest rooms after each stay, regardless of the length of stay. | |
Regular intensive cleaning of contact surfaces such as key cards, door handles, lift buttons, light switches etc. | |
Breakfast alternative to the buffet according to the valid regulations (only valid for properties with breakfast offer). | |
If required by law all employees wear a mouth and nose protection and have been sufficiently trained. | |
Access restriction and distance control in all areas of the property including checking of compliance by the staff if required by law. |
