Why do we deserve to win this award?

The Gorki Apartments are a unique residence in the heart of Berlin, our 34 apartments and 2 penthouses combine cosy comfort and modern design. To make our guests happy we are always generous and take the time to provide tailor-made service.

Our apartments are your temporary home. Because at Gorki you are not just a guest - here you become a real Berliner. With doorbell and your own mailbox. Generously sized and furnished with great attention to detail, the apartments exude creative flair and timeless elegance. Thanks to the careful restoration of the building, they are also completely designed for modern living - the perfect retreat after a day (or night) in the capital. We also expect only the best quality from our partners and suppliers.

We give our employees the optimal basis for further development, we try to recognize strengths quickly and promote them. The development begins with the fact that we do not wear standardized clothing, as in every situation you appear most self-confident when you feel comfortable in your clothing. Our employees usually have years of experience in the upscale international and local hotel business, which we use here to say goodbye to outdated standards and bring fresh ideas for communication and daily routine.

Vinea Suites & Apartements, Vista Suite

Why do we deserve to win this award?

The Vinea: a temporary home with lots of space and freedom for self-development. High-quality and modern apartment suites with warm service and love for detail - from the furnishings to the breakfast buffet. A retreat with maximum privacy and tranquillity, for adults only.

With the Vinea we wanted to create a holiday home for our guests in which everything is possible. A maximum of flexibility, spontaneity and freedom is the basis of our philosophy, because every guest can decide for himself how he wants to arrange his stay with us. Either stay completely independent and simply live the day with the Basic Package without meals or rather with some additional hotel services with the Premium Package (including breakfast and daily cleaning). So the guests are not bound to any meal times or other "obligations" of a hotel, can decide individually at any time and experience the beauty and variety of South Tyrol up close. At Vinea we also want to guarantee maximum peace and relaxation, which is why we have been pursuing an Adults only concept since the beginning - a another reason why we can call innumerable guests regulars already after such a short time. Further highlights: Our breakfast buffet, which is served daily with special attention to detail, as well as the small wellness area with panorama sauna and fitness room on the roof, lounging rooms and infinity pool.
The family-run house in a prime location above the rooftops of Merano was deliberately kept small, so that a warm and open service and - if desired - close contact with the guest can be guaranteed at all times.

Why do we deserve to win this award?

The best way to get to know a city is not to visit it, but to live it. At Yays, guests are turned into residents, an apartment is turned into a home away from home, a building is an international community, and the neighbourhood an exciting place where hidden gems are waiting to be discovered.

‘Turning visitors into residents’
Every Yays apartment is designed with space and comfort to fit in everything you would normally except in any home: a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, a double bed and a living room with TV and sofa. Its thoughtful design ensures that the guest can rest, work, cook and relax in their temporary home. To add up to that local experience, warm Mediterranean tones have been applied throughout the whole building and a common terrace with a large swimming pool alongside with hammocks and sun seats is exclusively available to Yays’ residents.

The common terrace is the perfect opportunity for guests to brainstorm, connect and build up community with fellow Yays residents. It has a relaxed and comfortable setting that caters to both pleasure and productive days.

Our concierges are recruited directly from the neighbourhood. They know the area like the back of their hand and are passionate to share local gems, walking routes and events based on their own experience and know-how. They organise whatever the resident needs to make them feel like a true resident.

Why do we deserve to win this award?

With Yays you can immerse yourself in the stories and perks of a local neighbourhood. We make sure that guests feel like residents rather than visitors. By building up community among our guests and neighbours, we actively support local entrepreneurs and encourage interaction with residents.

Yays Zoutkeetsgracht is located in ‘Zeeheldenbuurt’, a picturesque neighbourhood overlooked by tourism, yet closely located to buzzling areas such as Amsterdam Central Station and Westerpark. The historic building used to be an 18th century salt warehouse, overlooking a typical Dutch canal. For an even more authentic experience, long stay visitors can settle in the antique houseboat right on the canal equipped with all comforts for a taste of true Amsterdam life.

The 32 boutique apartments are hosted by a concierge and other staff recruited from the area. They know the neighbourhood the best and can serve our guests like no other with local tips and guided walking or bicycle tours given by locals. For the ultimate local experience, Yays bicycles can also be rented out at any time at the reception.

Yays thrives on its personal relationships with local businesses including shops, cafés, activities, sights and galleries located within walking distance of the apartments. By redirecting the guest to these places rather than offering in-house F&B, Yays creates a mutual benefit for both guests and local entrepreneurs than results in a meaningful community.
