      Serviced Apartments in Berlin

"Be Berlin" is the official slogan of the German capital and yes – Berlin welcomes every new arrival! The metropolis is as colourful as intercultural. It has been embracing new things ever since and has become home to those who have fallen in love with its sometimes quirky liveliness.

"You are crazy my child, you must go to Berlin!" With four million inhabitants there is always something new to discover. Berlin truly stands out due to a unique diversity of events, fairs, cultural highlights and clubs. Whether you are travelling on holidays or on business to the capital but don´t want to stay at expensive hotels or at private holiday flats where you can never really be sure what to expect, then take advantage of our great choice of furnished serviced apartments in Berlin. They offer the perfect alternative.

Large events take place in Berlin almost every week. The International Green Week in January, the worldwide largest exhibition for the food, agricultural and horticultural industries, is the prelude to the year. The Berlin International Film Festival 'Berlinale' is the highlight in February when it transforms all cinemas of the city into cultural sites and the Potsdamer Platz into the Mecca of stars and starlets for ten days.

In March there is the ITB Berlin, the Leading Travel Trade Show where more than 200 nations present their touristic attractions to visitors every year. People interested in engineering and technology get their money’s worth at the Berlin Air Show (ILA) in June. After the summer break from September there is a range of events being held starting with the IFA, the International Consumer Fair. Moreover, on one of the September weekends the traffic in the city almost comes to a standstill when the Berlin Marathon is taking place.

If this is still not enough for you then you can go on a party tour at night and visit one of the many museums during the day and finish off the evening with a concert of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. As manifold as the possibilities of the city are the styles of the serviced apartments we offer. You decide if you rather elegantly, on a budget or right in the middle of the neighbourhood.

      Berlin Potsdamer Platz

Visitors have several possibilities to get to know the city. You can go on a sightseeing tour with a typical open-roof double-deck bus passing the Red Town Hall, Potsdamer Platz, Brandenburg Gate, Kurfuerstendamm and Memorial Church. Too boring? No worries! As soon as the weather permits you can also discover the metropolis by bike or by taking a boat trip on the river Spree: What´s more interesting: The Berlin Transport Authority offer tunnel trips with their tube-cabrio. Berlin from below – why not? But also an outing to the districts out of the city centre is recommendable:

The already impressive Garden of the World in Marzahn-Hellersdorf will be extended on the occasion of the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) 2017 and presents a worthwhile destination not only for families. Or you visit the Spandau Citadel, say hello to the bats within a guided tour through the old vaults of the renaissance fortress or visit a concert of the Citadel Music Festival in summer. You still want more culture? There are three large opera houses and numerous smaller and bigger theatre stages offering a programme which hardly leaves anything to be desired. Our favourites are "Bar jeder Vernunft", "Tipi am Kanzleramt" and the many open-air cinemas in summer.

      Going Out

      Berlin Spreeufer

Berlin is well-known for its club scene, its fantastic bars and high-end restaurants. The notorious techno club "Berghain" with its panoramic bar in Friedrichshain surely ranks among one of the most famous locations, whose bouncer Sven Marquardt also works as a photographer and artistically draws attention to the Berlin subculture. One can party at "Goya" in the heart of Schoeneberg or on a bathing ship in Treptow, but also in hotspots like the Simon-Dach-neighbourhood where there are plenty of pubs and bars. On the one hand there are traditional clubs and long-established restaurants which have been attracting visitors for years.

"Max und Moritz" in Kreuzberg or "Zur letzten Instanz" in Mitte as well as many other small corner pubs belong to the city like TV tower and Brandenburg Gate. On the other hand, new localities are constantly surfacing, which combine innovative trends and cuisines. Vietnamese, vegan, Kobe beef? Everything exists! Berlin is setting trends for many other cities. No matter if traditional or ultra modern, it never gets boring in the capital, because there is so much to discover and not only the nights in Kreuzberg are long...

      Berlin-style Meatballs

      • 500 g minced meat (pork and beef)
      • 1 large onion
      • 1 egg
      • 1 bread roll
      • some milk
      • 1 tbsp mustard
      • salt
      • pepper

Steep the bread roll in the milk and combine this mixture with egg, mustard, pepper and salt. Then add the minced meat and the finely chopped onion and mix everything together until smooth. Form meatballs in the desired size and fry in a non-stick frying pan with some hot oil from both sides until they are cooked and brown. It's simple and delicious!
